On Sunday April 14, HLF Young Ambassadors and Mentors helped the Ronald McDonald House in New York, New York make Easter a little more special for families residing there. To celebrate Global Youth Service Day, Ambassadors and Mentors donated Easter Eggs and Baskets they collected on their own to the RMH’s annual Easter Egg Hunt held on Easter morning. RMH presents the Easter Egg Hunt in their playroom for all children to participate in who cannot be in their own home on Easter morning.

As part of a Service Learning Event, they received a tour of the house learning about all of the amenities the house has to offer. Visiting the kitchen, living room, playroom, computer room and bedrooms gave the Ambassadors and Mentors an inside look into exactly what the Ronald McDonald House does for families in need.
