The Henrik Lundqvist foundation took the donations it received from Florida Panthers fans and passed it along to the Humboldt Broncos organization.

New York Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist and his foundation, the Henrik Lundqvist Foundation, donated $12,000 directly to the Humboldt Broncos Jr. ‘A’ Hockey Club.

The money was donated by the fans of the Florida Panthers who donated money to the foundation when the Rangers played in Philadelphia in the last game of the season. The Panthers were in need of a Flyers loss to help them make the playoffs and had started to donate money in hopes it would help motivate Hank and the Rangers to defeat the Flyers.

The Rangers lost the game, but it will help the Broncos. A great gesture by all.
