Calling all 12-18 year olds in the Tri-state area (especially passionate New York Rangers fans)!

The King of New York, Henrik Lundqvist of course, is looking for you!

The Henrik Lundqvist Foundation (HLF) has launched a young ambassador program (HLFYA). HLF believes young people can make a difference in today’s world. The program is designed to provide the platform in which the selected individuals can make that happen.

From Lundqvist himself, “Young people have an amazing energy and passion for helping others that I wanted to tap into. The HLF Young Ambassadors program will give kids a platform to support worthy children’s health and education organizations and empower them to become leaders in giving back in their own communities.”

The HLF, founded in 2014 by Lundqvist and his wife Therese, strives to “make a difference in the lives of children and their families throughout the world, in the areas of health and education.” Of course this is possible with the generous help of a few worldwide community partners; NY Presbyterian Children’s Hospital, Food Bank for NYC, Ronald McDonald Barnfond, and Together for Better. The Foundation also supports the Garden of Dreams Foundation, a non-profit that works with all aspects of the Madison Square Garden Company.
